Here are the recipes for tomorrow night!
Crockpot Beef Tips
1 1/2 pounds lean stew beef
1 can 98% fat free cream of mushroom soup
1 package of Liptons onion soup mix
1 can diet sprite or 7-up
Stir mushroom soup and the Liptons onion soup mix together. Put lean stew beef in bottom of crockpot. Pour soup mixture over meat. Add diet drink. Cook in crockpot on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours. Turn off and let sit for 30 minutes before serving. Note: (Can add vegetables to this if wanted!)
Corn Casserole
1 can of cream corn
1 can of corn, drained
2 green onions, chopped (white and green stem part)
2 Tablespoons flour
1 whole egg, slightly beaten
1/4 cup of crushed crackers of your choice (Ritz, Butter, etc)
Black pepper
I made this up the night before so that hubby could just stick in the oven 30 minutes before I came home. I also used the new Flatbread garlic zesty crackers on top instead of Ritz.
Stir together cream corn and flour. Add the drained regular corn, onions, egg, and pepper. Spray baking dish and pour mixture into bowl. Add crushed crackers on top. Backe in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until set.
For the Green Beans with Stew Tomatoes, we just opened up a can of french cut green beans and a can of my mom's canned stewed tomatoes and just cooked together.
If hubby gets a chance, he may cook up a pan of Jiffy cornbread!
